In the version of Photoshop CS5, there have been a special order to make this HDR effect. Actually the older version of Photoshop though we can make this HDR effect with the same result as in Photoshop CS5.
This time we will try one of the quickest ways to create this photo effect. This makes it fairly easy that is suitable for beginners who are still learning Photoshop basic level.
Although this method is not the best way, but effective enough to make the images look more dramatic and exciting.
Note! Guide compiled using Photoshop CS3 and can be applied to almost all versions.
What is it HDR?
HDR is an acronym for High Dynamic Range. This is a photography technique by photographing an object with a various range of exposure (light level).
This technique will produce some photographs of the same object with different light levels, ranging from the darkest to the brightest (Dynamic Range).
The images are then combined to produce an image with a wide range of light levels.

Although it may not provide an equivalent quality results, but with Photoshop we can simulate the photographic technique on any photo owned.
The following figure is an example of the end result expected from the implementation tutorial fastest way to make this HDR effect.

Step by Step, How to Make Quick HDR Effect

1. Preliminary Analysis and Improvement
As usual, we did an initial analysis of the photographs used. The composition of the picture is quite good, but the lack of contrast and colors look a little pale.

Perform repairs contrast using Levels with a guide of how to improve the article with a photo of contrast levels.
To fix the color, we use a Selective Color as the photo editing article - dramatization color of the sky.
Here are the results we get the following steps to edit the initial repair.
Initial Edit
For contrast we only use the Auto Levels function, while for the color we just edit the colors cyan and Blues corresponding dominant colors in an image.
2. Creating HDR Effect
Press CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + E to merge all layers Visible Layers in the new (merged).
Then press CTRL + J to create a duplicate of the layer combined (merged copy). To temporarily disable first merged copy layer (click the eye icon).
Note! If the photo you are using does not require initial repair (step 1), you can immediately make 2 pieces duplicate of the Background layer.
Select the merged layer, then press CTRL + SHIFT + U to throw color (desaturate). Then press CTRL + I to invert the colors (Invert).
Furthermore, change the Blending Mode of this layer to Overlay merged.
Select the Filter »Blur» Gaussian Blur. Here we use a value of 10 pixels to create the HDR effect.
Up to this point HDR effect expected already beginning to show.
3. Sharpening Photos
Photo HDR generally present with crisp detail and vivid. We will raise the overall picture sharpness.
Turn back layer Copy Merged, then change the Blending Mode to Hard Light.
Then select the menu Filter »Other» High Pass. Raise the slider slowly until your eyes according to the picture was quite sharp.
In this photo, we use a value of 2 pixels for High Pass.
4. Reduction Color (Optional)
This step is optional stages, depending on the outcome of the photo in the previous step. For this photo, we believe Blue color saturation looks too high, and needs to be slightly lowered.
Choose Layer »New Adjustment Layer» Hue / Saturation, and lower color saturation Blues
Here are the results of this step, and is the final result of the tutorial the fastest way to make this HDR effect.

Hopefully this short tutorial can be useful for us who want to learn Photoshop from the base.
